Rituals, witchcraft, cannibalism, and possession form the plot of this little-known, mega-rare movie from Argentina. Very mysterious and atmospheric, little-known director Pedro Stocki loses his head raving in a never ending string of nonsensical madness. However, there is enough force here to evoke a visceral response to the film’s powerful images of madness, cannibalism, and paranoia. Suffice it to say you have to have a clear mind when you view this seemingly hell-spawned film.
